The San Diego Chargers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed CB Trovon Reed to their practice squad.
The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Kevin Norwood
- LB Deon King
- OT Brett Boyko
- S Adrian McDonald
- WR Dom Williams
- TE Jake McGee
- WR Isaiah Burse
- RB Andre Williams
- NT Ryan Carrethers
Reed, 25, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn last year. He was cut loose at the start of the season but was later added to their practice squad.
After a brief stint with the Dolphins, Reed joined the Seahawks and returned on a future/reserve contract. Seattle ultimately waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list before he was cut with an injury settlement a few days later.
Reed has yet to appear in an NFL game.
