Chargers Sign First-Round Pick OT D.J. Fluker

First-round pick OT D.J. Fluker has been signed by the Chargers to a four-year contract worth $11.4 million.

The Chargers selected Fluker No. 11 overall in the draft in hopes to help the offensive line which was extremely porous protecting QB Philip Riversin 2012.  Fluker projects as a right tackle from his ability to make great blocks in the running game and raw ability in the pass game.  However, it does not seem surprising as all of the top talents of the offensive tackle class this year are manning the right side of the line.

The signing of Fluker means that the Chargers have signed all of their picks from this years draft.  The Chargers certainly are counting on Fluker as head coach Mike McCoy will continue to employ a vertical offense with the Chargers.
