Chargers Worked Out LB Shayne Skov Last Week

The San Diego Chargers worked out LB Shayne Skov late last week, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

Obviously, the Chargers elected to not sign Skov to a contract or to their practice squad.

Manti Te’o has been out for a number of weeks with a foot injury and fellow linebacker Kavell Conner has been dealing with an ankle injury of his own, so they are most likely checking out their available options. As of now, Colton Underwood is the only linebacker on their practice squad.

Skov, 24, signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in May. During his five-year college career, he recorded 355 tackles, 40.5 tackles for a loss, 16 sacks and five forced fumbles.
