Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Cardinals WR Christian Kirk had his charges of disorderly conduct and property damage dismissed recently by the Scottsdale City Court.

Rapoport mentions that those who know Kirk said the charges were baseless.

The Cardinals publicly supported Kirk and maintained that they believe in him moving forward.

Kirk was arrested back in February and charged with disorderly conduct and proper damage after he and some of his friends were intoxicated and leaving the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Kirk and his friends were allegedly seen throwing rocks at cars outside the golf tournament on Feb. 3 and broke a window of at least one vehicle.

Kirk, 21, was taken with the No. 47 overall pick by the Cardinals in the second round of this year’s draft. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $5,894,874 contract that includes a $2,367,180 signing bonus.

During his three-year college career at Texas A&M, Kirk caught 234 passes for 2,856 yards receiving and 26 touchdowns over the course of 39 games.
