Chiefs Re-Sign LB Josh Mauga To Three-Year Deal

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Chiefs have re-signed LB Josh Mauga to a three-year deal worth close to $8 million.

Mauga, 27, signed a one-year contract with the Chiefs back in July of last year. He would have been an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2014, Mauga recorded 103 tackles, a half sack, and three passes defenses for the Chiefs over the course of 16 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
