Terez A. Paylor reports that the Chiefs have re-signed veteran QB Chad Henne to a two-year contract on Monday.
Henne, 34, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2008. He played four years for Miami before signing with the Jaguars as a free agent in 2012.
Henne restructured his contract in 2018 with the Jaguars to a one-year, $3,250,000 contract. He is finishing a two-year, $6.7 million deal and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Henne appeared in one game for the Chiefs and recorded two completions on three passing attempts (66.7 percent) for 29 yards and no touchdowns, to go along with one rushing attempt for three yards.
