Chiefs Sign CBs Jacoby Glenn & Larry Scott, Waive CB Keith Baxter

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Saturday that they’ve waived CB Keith Baxter and signed CB Jacoby Glenn and CB Larry Scott to contracts.

Glenn, 24, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida in 2015. He was unable to crack Chicago’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was quickly signed to the team’s practice squad.

Glenn was on and off their practice squad last year before he waived shortly after this year’s NFL draft.

In 2016, Glenn appeared in seven games and recorded 26 total tackles, one interception, six pass defenses, and forced a fumble.

Baxter, 25, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall. Unfortunately, he was waived at the start of the preseason.

It wasn’t until October that the Packers added him to their practice squad. Green Bay cut him loose in January and he later signed on with the Chiefs a few months ago.

During his four-year college career, Baxter recorded 67 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery, three interceptions and eight pass defenses.
