Adam Teicher of ESPN reports that former Dolphins/Browns CB Chris Owens has been signed by the Chiefs.
Owens, 27, graded out as the No. 45 cornerback out of 110 qualifiers, according to ProFootball Focus. Last season Owens played on 546 snaps and started three games last season.
Owens proved to be serviceable when giving playing time so it isn’t out of the question that he could push for slot corner duties next season for the Chiefs.
