Chiefs Trying Out Four Players Including WR Seantavius Jones

The Kansas City Chiefs are trying out four players this week including CB Trenton Coles, CB Chris Greenwood, WR Seantavius Jones and WR Devonte Robinson, accordion to BJ Kissel.

Jones, 23, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Valdosta State back in May of last year. He was ultimately unable to make the team’s final roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to the team’s practice squad and was on and off of their active roster last year.

New Orleans waived him back in February, but he managed to sign on with the Eagles just a few weeks later. Unfortunately for Jones, the Eagles elected to place him on waivers in earlier April.

In 2015, Jones appeared three games, but didn’t record a single statistic.

Greenwood, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2012. He spent just over a year in Detroit before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season.

Greenwood has since played for the Cowboys, Vikings and Ravens before signing on to the Patriots’ practice squad towards the end of last year.

In 2013, Greenwood appeared in three games and recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
