The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve placed DL Jerel Worthy on waivers Monday.

Worthy, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just two years in Green Bay and sustained a serious knee. Upon returning, the Packers traded him to the Patriots for a conditional draft pick, but he was unfortunately cut loose.
The Chiefs would later sign Worthy to their practice squad.
Worthy hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was still playing for the Packers.
