Chiefs Worked Out LB Deon King

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Chiefs brought in LB Deon King for a workout on Tuesday.

King, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out oof Norfolk State back in May. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad a day later.

Dallas elected to him loose soon after adding him to their taxi squad.

During his college career, King recorded 372 tackles, 52.5 tackles for a loss, 22 sacks, four forced fumbles, five recoveries and six pass defenses.
