The Indianapolis Colts announced several roster moves on Saturday in order to get down to the required 53 players.
The Colts parted ways with:

- CB Chance Casey
- NT Josh Chapman
- ILB Carlos Fields
- DT Montori Hughes
- T Ulrick John
- OLB Cam Johnson
- S Dewey McDonald
- TE Sean McGrath
- ILB Henoc Muamba
- G Kitt O’Brien
- CB Eric Patterson
- DT Kelcy Quarles
- TE Erik Swoope
- CB Raymon Taylor
- RB Zurlon Tipton
The Colts also placed DT Arthur Jones and ILB Junior Sylvestre on season-ending injured reserve list.
Carter, 23, totaled 124 career receptions for 1,939 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Montreal Alouettes over the past two years.
In 2014, he caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing and was named a CFL All-Star.
