Colts Place ILB Pat Angerer On Injured Reserve & Sign RB Shaun Draughn

The Indianapolis Colts announced on Tuesday that they have placed ILB Pat Angerer on season-ending injured reserve.

  •  The Colts also announced the signing of RB Shaun Draughn on Tuesday as well.

Angerer, 26, has been dealing with a knee injury this season that is expected to require surgery during the offseason, but he was a healthy inactive this past weekend. The Colts will move forward with Jerrell FreemanKavell Conner and Kelvin Sheppard at inside linebacker.

Angerer finishes the season with 63 tackles, 0.5 sacks, an interception and two pass defenses.

As for Draughn, he was released by the Ravens back in Week 6 and hasn’t found a lot of interest since then. Starting running back Donald Brown suffered a stinger last weekend that gave Trent Richardson an opportunity. Draughn figures to backup Richardson for as along as Brown is out.
