The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’veย signed free agent CBย Chance Casey and undrafted free agent Gย Will Corbin to contracts.
- The Colts also waived-injured CBย Josh Mitchell, who will revert to the Colts Injured Reserve list in the event he clears waivers.
Casey, 24, originally signed with the Oakland Raiders after going undrafted out of Baylor back in 2013. He played in four games over the course of two seasons with the Raiders and recordedย seven tackles and aย pass defense.
The 49ers later signed Casey to theirย 49ers practice squad in September of 2014, but he would eventually return to the Raiders.
Corbinย was among the players whoย worked out with the Colts on a tryout basis during theirย rookie mini-camp. He wound up going undrafted out of Appalachian State.
During his five years at Appalachian State, Corbin appeared in 35 total games. He actually began his college career as a defensive lineman before eventually transitioning to offensive line during his redshirt-freshman season.
