Colts Sign G Andre Cureton, Waive K Cody Parkey

The Indianapolis Colts signed G Andre Cureton and waived K Cody Parkey Tuesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Cureton, an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati, signed with the Dallas Cowboys earlier this offseason, but was waived last week.

The Colts have spent much of the offseason looking to increase the competition on the interior of the offensive line, so Cureton could get a decent shot in Indianapolis.

Parkey signed as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May, but it was always a longshot for him to beat out veteran K Adam Vinatieri.

  1. Parkey should have been kept simply for his ability to kick the ball out of the endzone. Plus he would be a good replacement when Adam does retire.
