The Indianapolis Colts announced Thursday that they’ve signed guard Nick Callender to a contract.
This comes just a day after G Jack Mewhort announced his retirement from the NFL.
Callender, 24, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in May. However, the Seahawks elected to cut him loose a month later.
During his college career at Colorado State, Callender appeared in 37 games and made 21 starts. He was an All-Mountain West honorable mention as a senior.
