The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday night that they’ve signed WR Brian Riley to a contract.
Bremer notes that Riley will take DE Kendall Langford’s roster spot after the team cut Langford loose with a failed physical designation on Wednesday.
Riley worked out for the Colts during their rookie minicamp earlier this offseason, but wasn’t signed to a contract. This is his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his four-year college career with the University of San Diego, Riley recorded 98 receptions for 1,768 yards receiving (18.0 YPC) and 15 touchdowns.
