According to Rand Getlin, the Colts are signing veteran CB Tony Carter to a contract on Tuesday.
It is worth mentioning that CB Mike Adams went down with a hamstring injury that forced him out of Week 6’s game. Carter’s addition gives the Colts an extra veteran presence in theirย secondary.
Carter, 29, signed on with the Broncos as anย undrafted free agent out Florida State of back in 2009.ย He briefly played for the Patriots and Vikings before rejoining the Broncos in 2011 when he signed to their practice squad.
However, he was unfortunately among the teamโs final roster cuts.
In 2014,ย Carterย appeared in eight games, recordingย five total tackles, one pass defense, and one fumble recovery that he returned for aย touchdown.
Pro Football Focusย hasย Carterย down for playing justย 87 total snaps last year.
