Colts Waive CB Ryan Lewis, Promote WR Ashton Dulin

The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve promoted WR Ashton Dulin to their active roster and waived CB Ryan Lewis.

The Colts needed some additional help at receiver after T.Y. Hilton (quad) missing practice this week and is listed as doubtful for Week 4.

Lewis, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2018. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to the Cardinals practice squad.

Lewis later caught on with the Patriots but was among their final roster cuts on at the start of the 2018 regular season. The Bills claimed Lewis off of waivers only to cut him loose this past August.

From there, Lewis was claimed by the Colts.

In 2019, Lewis has appeared in three games for the Colts and recorded one tackle.
