The Indianapolis Colts announced that they have waived OT Eric Pike and CB Darius Polk on Thursday.
Pike actually signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Towson just a few days ago, so it’s a little surprising that he lasted such a short period of time. Pike was a Football Championship Series All-America selection last year and received All-CAA first-team honors as well.
Polk also signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State on Sunday. He posted 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions and three forced fumbles during his four years in college.
