Colts Waive RB Abou Toute From I.R. With Settlement

The Indianapolis Colts officially waived RB Abou Toute from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.

Toure, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee-Martin back in May of last year. He was unfortunately among the Colts’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason, but later signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad towards the end of the season.

Unfortunately, Arizona cut him loose just a few weeks later. After a brief stint with the Steelers, the Colts signed Toure to a contract a month ago only to waive him with an injury designation a days ago.

Toure has yet to appear in an NFL game.
