Cowboys Sign KR Micheal Spurlock & Add DT Frank Kearse Off Titans’ Practice Squad

Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports that the Dallas Cowboys have signed KR Micheal Spurlock replace Dwayne Harris who is likely to miss Week 16’s game with a hamstring injury.

Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley handled their kick returns with Harris out, but it appears as though they want to go with some else for their stretch run.

Spurlock spent time with Cowboys’ special teams coach Rich Bisaccia in previous stops with the Buccaneers and Chargers, so they at least have an idea of what he brings to the table.

Archer also reports that the Cowboys have signed DT Frank Kearse off the Titans’ practice squad.

Kearse was a seventh-round pick of the Miami Dolphins back in 2011. He will obviously replace DT Drake Nevis who was released on Tuesday.
