Cowboys Officially Sign LB Andrew Gachkar To A Two-Year Deal

David Canter, the agent for LB Andrew Gachkar, announced via his Twitter account Sunday that his client has signed with the Cowboys.

• Mike Garafolo reports that Gachkar receives a two-year deal worth up to $5.5 million.

Gachkar, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Chargers back in 2011. He has since played out his four-year, $2,085,900 rookie contract that included just $45,900 guaranteed.

Last year, Gachkar appeared in 15 games and recorded 49 tackles, a fumble recovery and scored a defensive touchdown for the Chargers. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 28 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
