DeMarco Murray Should Return “In The Foreseeable Future”

Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones doesn’t think running back DeMarco Murray‘s foot injury is a long-term problem and he should return to the field soon.

“I don’t think it’s long term. I think we’ll have him back in the foreseeable future. I wouldn’t predict,” Jones answered in regards to Murray’s long-term status, via DallasCowboys.com.

Murray is still on crutches to keep weight off his foot, but the fact the Cowboys considered letting him practice means his foot’s recovery is on the right track. Murray is likely a few more weeks away from making a return to the Cowboys backfield. Felix Jones will fill in has Murray’s replacement for the time being.
