Dolphins Sign G Danny Watkins

Adam Beasley reports that the Dolphins reached an agreement with  former Eagles first-round pick G Danny Watkins.

Watkins will likely receive a minimum contract given that there hasn’t been a lot of interest in him since being released.

Jason La Canfora reports that the Miami Dolphins will sign former Eagles first-round pick G Danny Watkins.

However, Watkins’ agent, Joe Panos, has refuted the report by saying; “Not true. I’m his agent. I think I would know,” per Adam Beasley.

Watkins did work out for the Dolphins earlier on Monday and there’s still a chance that a deal could be reached at some point in the near future. We’ll have more as the news is available.
