Dolphins Hiring Bills Scout Marvin Allen As Assistant GM

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Dolphins are hiring Bills national scout Marvin Allen as their assistant GM under Chris Grier.

Schefter mentions that Allen and Grier have a “strong relationship.”

The Dolphins are planning to enter the rebuilding phase now that they will have a GM and head coach for the 2019 season.

Allen worked for the Patriots as an area scout for 16 years before joining the Falcons as a national scout.

Allen spent four years as director of college scouting for the Chiefs before the Bills hired him as a national scout in 2017.
