Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that the Dolphins have inquired about free agent RB DeMarco Murray. However, Fowler isn’t sure if there’s a visit lined up but, it appears as though Miami is interested in him.

Murray has already met with the Seahawks and Lions, who are also in the mix for a veteran running back.

It’s worth mentioning that signing Murray to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.

Murray, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2011. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $25.5 million contract that included $12.5 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $6.25 million for the 2018 season when the Titans released him in a move that freed up $6.5 million of available cap space.

In 2017, Murray appeared in 15 games and rushed for 659 yards on 184 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with 39 receptions for 266 yards receiving and seven total touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 running back out of 58 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
