Dolphins Placing Rookie QB Luke Falk On Injured Reserve

Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are placing rookie QB Luke Falk on injured reserve with a fracture in his left wrist on Friday.

Falk, 23, was selected with the No. 199 overall pick in the sixth round of this year’s draft by the Titans. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $2,608,832 contract that includes a $148,832 signing bonus.

Falk was among the Titans’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was later claimed off of waivers by the Dolphins.

During his four-year college career at Washington State, Falk threw for 14,481 yards while completing 68.3 percent of his passes to go along with 119 touchdowns and 39 interceptions over the course of 42 games.
