Dolphins Promote RB Jonas Gray To Active Roster

The Miami Dolphins announced Wednesday morning that they’ve promoted RB Jonas Gray to their active roster.

Gray, 25, was waived by the Patriots this last weekend, as they cut their roster down to 53 players. The Dolphins wound up signing him to a contract just a few days ago, even though he visited with the Titans.

Miami has already promoted Gray to their active roster before sending him down a little over a week ago to make room for RB Raheem Mostert, who was signed off the Eagles’ practice squad.

In 2014, Gray appeared in eight games for the Patriots and ran for 412 yards on 89 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with five rushing touchdowns and one reception for seven yards.
