Eagles Sign OL Stefen Wisniewski To A One-Year Deal Worth Up To $2.76M

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Eagles are expected to sign OL Stefen Wisniewski to a one-year contract on Monday.

  • According to Garafolo, Wisniewski receives a one-year contract that includes a $760,000 base salary to go along with a $500,000 signing bonus and $250,000 in per-game roster bonuses.
  • With incentinves, the contract can be worth up to $2.76 million this year, per Garafolo.
  • Garafolo adds that the Steelers were also in play for Wisniewski.

Philadelphia recently brought Wisniewski in a for a visit, so he was clearly on their radar.

Wisniewski, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2011. After playing out his rookie contract, he wound up signing just a one-year contract with the Jaguars after find less interest than many anticipated.

In 2015, Wisniewski appeared in all 16 games for the Jaguars and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 19 center of 39 qualifying players.
