Eagles Activate RT Lane Johnson From COVID-19 List

The Eagles announced Tuesday they have activated RT Lane Johnson from the COVID-19 list.

The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.

Johnson, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Eagles back in 2013. He had one year remaining on his four-year, $19.853 million rookie contract when the Eagles elected to sign him to a five-year extension worth $56.26 million back in 2016.

The Eagles opted to sign Johnson to a four-year, $72 million extension that included $54.595 million guaranteed last year.

In 2019, Johnson appeared in 12 games for the Eagles, starting 12 at right tackle.
