Eagles Expected To Start Nick Foles In Week 6, Could Win Starting Job With A Great Game

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles are expected to start Nick Foles  against the Buccaneers in Week 6.

  • Howard Eskin reported last night that Michael Vick was likely to miss next weekend’s game and could be out two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Last year, Foles one win as a starter came against Tampa Bay. Foles totaled 381 yards passing and two touchdowns in that game. Foles was able to lead to Eagles to win over the Giants on Sunday, so we’ll have to see how does against an improved Buccaneers secondary in Week 6.

HC Chip Kelly has made it clear that Vick will remain their starting quarterback once healthy following Sunday’s game. On Monday, however, Kelly appeares to have changed his tune on the topic. Kelly mentioned that Foles could win the job if he starts and plays well on Sunday, per Jeff McLane.
