Eagles Re-Sign CB De’Vante Bausby To Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve re-signed CB De’Vante Bausby to their practice squad.

  1. DE Joe Ostman
  2. WR Braxton Miller
  3. WR Dorren Miller
  4. LB Asantay Brown
  5. TE Billy Brown
  6. C Josh Andrews
  7. LB B.J. Bello
  8. RB Donnel Pumphrey
  9. DT Bruce Hector
  10. CB De’Vante Bausby

Bausby, 25, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh State back in May of 2015. He lasted just over a month in Kansas City before he waived and later signed to the Bears’ practice squad.

Chicago elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract but he was once again added to their practice squad after being among their final roster cuts. The Bears promoted him to their active roster before cutting him loose and re-signing him to their practice squad last year.

The Chiefs signed him to a contract shortly after this last year’s draft only to cut him loose at the start of the 2017 season. Bausby later signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad but was cut loose a few weeks later.

In 2016, Bausby appeared in three games and recorded 12 tackles and no interceptions.
