Eagles Shopping CB Rasul Douglas In Trade Talks

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing multiple league sources, reports that the Eagles are shopping CB Rasul Douglas in trade talks around the league.

This comes just days after the Eagles completed a trade for Lions CB Darius Slay, who has already agreed to a big-money extension with the team.

It’s unlikely the Eagles would be able to get much in return for Douglas at this point, but it’s at least something to keep an eye on leading up to this year’s draft.

Douglas, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.17 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $754,750 for the 2020 season.

In 2019, Douglas appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 35 tackles, no interceptions and 10 passes defended. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 98 cornerback receiver out of 113 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding the Eagles and Douglas as the news is available.
