According to Jeff McLane, the Eagles have signed CB Craig James to their practice squad after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
The Eagles’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Marcus Green
- DT Bruce Hector
- QB Kyle Lauletta
- G Sua Opeta
- TE Josh Perkins
- RB Boston Scott
- LB Alex Singleton
- WR Greg Ward
- CB Ajene Harris
- CB Craig James
James, 23, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation during final roster cuts with an injury designation.
Minnesota cut him with an injury settlement before re-signing him to their practice squad in and eventually calling him up later on in the season. He was among the Vikings’ final roster cuts at the end of this preseason but signed with the Eagles’ practice squad a few days later.
The Eagles promoted him to their active roster for Week 2 but waived him to make room for TE Alex Ellis earlier this week.
In 2019, James appeared in one game but has yet to record a statistic.
