Eagles Sign CB Ryan Lewis To PS, Release CB Ajene Harris

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CB Ryan Lewis to their practice squad and released CB Ajene Harris from the unit.

Here’s the Eagles updated practice squad:

  1. WR Marcus Green
  2. DT Bruce Hector
  3. QB Kyle Lauletta
  4. G Sua Opeta
  5. TE Josh Perkins
  6. RB Boston Scott
  7. LB Alex Singleton
  8. WR Greg Ward
  9. CB D.J. White
  10. CB Ryan Lewis

Lewis, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2018. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed him to the Cardinals practice squad.

Lewis later caught on with the Patriots but was among their final roster cuts on at the start of the 2018 regular season. The Bills claimed Lewis off of waivers only to cut him loose this past August.

From there, Lewis was claimed by the Colts. Unfortunately, he was waived last week.

In 2019, Lewis has appeared in three games for the Colts and recorded one tackle.
