The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DT Winston Craig to a contract.
Craig, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Eagles cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Philadelphia later re-signed Craig to their practice squad toward the end of the season.
During his college career at Richmond, Craig recorded 166 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, two interceptions, 11 pass defenses, a forced fumble, a recovery and three blocked kicks over the course of 52 games.
