Earlier in the day, Philadelphia announced that they’veย signedย DE Alfy Hill andย waived/injured LB Brandon Hepburn and DE B.J. McBryde.
Skinner, 24, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out ofย Mississippi State. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad and active roster for much of the season before New England signed him to a future/reserve deal in February.
However, the Patriots elected to waive him shortly after this year’s draft.
In 2014, Skinner appeared in seven games for the Patriots last season and recorded 16 tackles and a sack.
