The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve placed LB Deontae Skinner on waivers Monday.
This comes after the team confirmed that they’re signing veteran LB Stephen Tulloch to a contract.
Skinner, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad and active roster for much of the 2014 season before New England signed him to a future/reserve deal in February of last year.
Unfortunately, the Patriots elected to waive him shortly after the draft. Skinner caught on with the Eagles a month later and returned to the team on a future/reserve contract his past January.
In 2014, Skinner appeared in seven games for the Patriots last season and recorded 16 tackles and a sack.
