The Eagles announced Wednesday they’ve waived WR Johnny Holton.

Holton, 27, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster each of his first two years in Oakland, but was cut loose at the start of the 2018 season and later signed to their practice squad.
The Raiders promoted Holton to their active roster for a short stint, but released him after the season. He signed with the Eagles on a futures deal in early 2019.
In 2018, Holton appeared in one game for the Raiders and was not able to bring in his lone target.
