The Philadelphia Eagles officially waived WR Shelton Gibson from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.
Gibson, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He was waived with an injury designation last week and later reverted to the Eagles’ injured reserve list.
Gibson is in the third year of his four-year, $2.65 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Gibson appeared in 15 games for the Eagles and caught one pass for 48 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
