Ed Reed Suspended One Game For Repeated Helmet-To-Helmet Hits

The NFL has announced that Ravens FS Ed Reed has been suspended one game for “repeated violations” regarding helmet-to-helmet hits on defenseless players, via NFL.com.

Reed wound up hitting Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders in the head during last night’s win. He will not be able to practice with the team throughout the week or even use the team’s practice facility.

Several reports have indicated that Reed is planning to appeal the suspension which would allow him to play against the Chargers in Week 12.
