Falcons Designate LB Deion Jones To Return From IR

The Atlanta Falcons officially designated LB Deion Jones to return from injured reserve on Wednesday.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Falcons to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Jones was placed on injured reserve after suffering a foot injury back in September.

Jones, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Falcons back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $4.546 million contract and set to make base salaries of $863,240 and $1.07 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Jones has appeared in one game and recorded nine tackles, an interception and two pass defenses.
