The Falcons are expected to turn to Damontae Kazee at safety with Neal done for the year.

Neal, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $10,737,644 contract and stands to make base salaries of $1.426 million and $1.914 million over the final two years of the agreement.

The Falcons will have to decide whether to pick up Neal’s fifth-year option next year.

In 2018, Neal appeared in one game and recorded two tackles for the Falcons.
