Falcons Re-Sign QB T.J. Yates To A One-Year Deal

Adam Caplan reports that the Falcons have re-signed QB T.J. Yates to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million.

• Vaughn McClure recently reported that Yates was drawing interest from four teams other than the Falcons.

Yates, 27, is a former fifth round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He came over in a trade with the Texans that sent ILB Akeem Dent to Houston.

Last year, Yates wound up appearing in just one game for the Falcons last year and threw for 64 yards and an interception.
