The Atlanta Falcons have signed WR Reggie Davis to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to Vaughn McClure.
The Falcons’ practice squad now consists of:
- DB Marcelis Branch
- OT Daniel Brunskill
- WR Deante Burton
- TE Alex Gray (International)
- WR Marvin Hall
- DE J.T. Jones
- TE Joshua Perkins
- G Jamil Douglas (Exception)
- QB Trevor Knight
- NT Taniela Tupou
- WR Reggie Davis
Davis, 21, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Falcons cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
The Browns later claimed him off of waivers before cutting him loose last week.
During his four-year college career at Georgia, Davis recorded 47 kickoff returns for 998 yards (21.2 YPR) and 34 punt returns for 251 yards (7.4 YPR) and scored one touchdown. As a receiver, Davis caught 38 passes for 618 yards receiving (16.3 YPC) for two touchdowns.
