Falcons Sign LB Bruce Carter To One-Year Extension

The Atlanta Falcons announced Monday that they’ve signed LB Bruce Carter to a one-year extension.

Carter, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract before signing a four-year, $17 million contract with the Buccaneers in March of 2015.

The Buccaneers elected to cut him loose in 2016 and he eventually signed a one-year contract with the Jets. Carter joined the Falcons in September of last year and finished out the season in Atlanta.

In 2018, Carter appeared in 11 games for the Falcons and recorded 21 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
