Falcons Cut Three Including S Terrance Parks, Sign Three

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve signed three players including OL Kendall Calhoun, LB Jonathan Celestin, and WR Colby Pearson and waived three including Jason Hall, Terrance Parks, and Daniel Marx.

Parks, 28, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Kansas City before signing a futures contract with the Seahawks.

Parks had a brief stint with the Texans before the Falcons signed him to their practice squad towards the end of the 2015 season. The Falcons just re-signed Parks last week.

In 2014, Parks appeared in one game and didn’t record a statistic.

Celestin wound up going undrafted out of Minnesota back in May. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.

During his four-year college career, Celestin recorded 217 tackles, 19.5 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, a recovery, an interception returned for a touchdown and seven pass defenses over the course of 49 games.
