Former Colts WR Lavon Brazill Goes Unclaimed Off Waivers

Former Colts WR Lavon Brazill went unclaimed off of waivers on Monday, according to the NFL transaction release.

Brazill received a year-long suspension for violating the league’s policy for substances of abuse and was waived just a few days later by the Colts.

Brazill, 25,had two years remaining on his rookie contract worth $2.178 million when the Colts released him. Last year, he totaled 161 yards receiving on 12 receptions and two touchdowns over the course of 10 games.

It seems unlikely that anyone will show much interest in signing him until his suspension has passed.
