Former Jets LB Dylan Donahue Suspended 14 Weeks

According to Howard Balzer, former Jets LB Dylan Donahue has been suspended for the first 14 weeks of the 2018 season.

This suspension stems from Donahue being issued multiple DUIs during his time with the Jets.

Back in February, Donahue was arrested after causing a wrong-way crash at the Lincoln Tunnel.

A Port Authority police officer said he saw Donahue drive around traffic cones and into the center tunnel against traffic and crash into a jitney bus that had 15 people on board.

The crash left four bus passengers with minor injuries and Donahue was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving.

Donahue, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.6 million contract and set to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season when the Jets waived him coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Donahue appeared in four games for the Jets and recorded five tackles before he was placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury.
